Take the legendary scenic train from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya — one of the world's most romantic train journeys. Walk hand in hand through emerald tea estates and visit a working tea factory. Check into your hill country hotel with crisp mountain air. Tea garden walk at sunset.

Long but beautiful drive south through tea country and lowland forests to the south coast at Mirissa — a romantic beach village famous for its crescent bay. Sunset cocktails at Coconut Tree Hill. Walk the beach barefoot in the evening as fishing boats return.
